Client Master Services Agreement

Verdict: Signable, but only after negotiating the payment terms and the blanket IP assignment, two changes that keep you out of trouble.
“Net 60 payment terms, invoicing on a monthly cycle”
You'd wait up to 60 days for money you've already earned.
“All work product and IP assigned to Client upon creation”
You'd hand over source + strategy, even before final payment.
“Agreement renews automatically for successive 12-month terms”
No renewal reminder. Cancel window is only 15 days.
The problem
Freelancers get hurt by the fine print. Every single deal.
You're not a lawyer. You shouldn't have to be one to protect the work you've already done.
Contracts are written to protect the other side
Client agreements, NDAs, MSAs. They're drafted by someone else's lawyer. The clauses that bite you are buried in fine print you skim past.
A lawyer costs $300/hour. You can't afford one per deal.
So you sign anyway. One bad clause, like auto-renewal, blanket IP assignment, or net-90 payment, can quietly cost you a month of work.
By the time you notice, it's too late
Most people find the bad clause when they're already in trouble. SignGuard finds it before you sign, in the 30 seconds before you hit send.
The fix isn't a lawyer. It's a second pair of eyes on every contract, one that costs $3, not $300.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Is this legal advice?+
No. SignGuard is a review assistant that helps you understand your contract, not a law firm, and it doesn't replace a lawyer for high-stakes deals. What it does is catch the clauses most people miss, explain them clearly, and tell you what to ask for, so you go into every signing informed.
What types of contracts can I analyze?+
Anything with text. Client agreements, MSAs, NDAs, independent-contractor terms, software/SaaS agreements, partnership deals, employment offers, landlord agreements. Paste the text or upload a document.
How does the credit system work?+
Buy a pack of credits (5, 15, or 50). One credit reviews up to 15 pages of contract; longer contracts use more credits (e.g. 30 pages = 2 credits). Credits never expire, there's no subscription, and if an analysis fails your credits are automatically refunded.
Is there a free tier?+
No free tier, we keep it simple and honest. You buy a credit pack and use exactly what you need, when you need it. A credit starts at $3.98 on our largest pack, which is a fraction of the cost of even one hour of a lawyer.
How accurate is it?+
SignGuard is built on a large language model trained on contract analysis. It reliably surfaces the clauses that matter, including payment terms, IP ownership, termination, auto-renewal, and liability, and explains them in plain English. It's a powerful second pair of eyes, not a replacement for careful reading. For anything worth more than a few thousand dollars, we recommend a human lawyer on top.
What happens to my documents?+
Your contracts are private and used only to produce your analysis. We never train models on your documents and we never share them. You can delete any analysis from your account at any time.
